This journey began with the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering on October 15, 1960, which was previously known as the Academy of Engineering and founded on October 20, 1958. This transformation was part of the grand vision of leading engineers such as Ir. Jacob Rais, Prof. Ir. Soemarman, and others, to establish a higher education institution for engineering in Semarang.<\/p><p>In 1998, UNDIP officially launched the Bachelor\u2019s Program in Environmental Engineering (S1 Environmental Engineering), demonstrating the university\u2019s commitment to environmental education. This commitment was further strengthened with the establishment of the Master\u2019s Program in Environmental Engineering (PSMTL) on December 1, 2018, pursuant to the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (No. 698\/UN7.P\/HK\/2018).<\/p><p>Since its inception, PSMTL has focused on producing environmental engineers capable of addressing today\u2019s environmental challenges. The program achieved \u201cGood\u201d accreditation in 2021 (Accreditation Decision No. 11337\/SK\/BAN-PT\/Akred\/M\/X\/2021). This accreditation serves as official recognition of PSMTL\u2019s academic quality and governance. However, PSMTL does not stop here\u2014the program continues to strive for quality improvement with the goal of achieving \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation in the next evaluation period. These improvements are implemented through enhancements in governance, academic services, faculty quality, and facilities.<\/p><p>The PSMTL curriculum is designed to keep pace with industry developments and environmental issues, providing a comprehensive learning experience for students.
